Ever since I was a fetus (12, dyed black hair, emo girl status) I've loved to blog. I love talking, I love writing- even if no one cares what I have to say. There is too much ridiculous in my life, so it makes sense that I never shut up. For the past few years, I've had a Tumblr blog- also titled La Petite O. But the Tumblr platform is more for photos, inspiration, etc... not bitching non stop about nothing. So here I am, starting over. Welcome.
Last week when I was visiting Florida, I stopped by my favorite place in the world- Aventura Mall. Have you ever been there? The biggest place ever, with not one but TWO Forever 21's. As if anyone needs to buy that much cheap shit. Among the budget friendly stores nestle a few of my favorite's: Louis Vuitton, Burberry, etc. In the middle of this big mess of stores that are all over the place, is Urban Outfitters. Don't get me wrong, I love Urban as much as the next girl. I used to work there, too. However, lately (for the past year or two) I haven't been able to find anything there that I like even a little bit. And if I kind of like it, it's never enough to actually spend close to a hundred on something that I'm never going to wear. I forced myself to go in there, praying to the fashion gods (Victoria Beckham, Christian Siriano, etc) that for once I would find something that I liked. The fashion gods answered.
This chic little number is classy with just enough edge. I've seen many variations of the studded collar done recently, but for some reason this one really spoke to me. I had to have it, and I did. Although I wouldn't recommend wearing it to your internship (my boobs were hanging out all over the place), I do think it's more than perfect for a night out. Silence and Noise- you've done it again. Thank you. I paired this little number with a classic pair of BDG high-waisted shorts and biker boots and off I went bopping around in New York City. (Last night I ended up at Bantam, a small club/bar where my friend was DJing.) Nothing beats a fun night in a great outfit.
